Lead actor of the much anticipated movie “Platina Data”, Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari, has appeared as S Cawaii’s first cover boy!! We deliver Ninomiya’s report about the movie, which talked about the ultimate personal information, DNA data, the one he called “Ninomiya Data”.
(When he heard about being the first cover boy)

Q: What is the meaning behind your name?
A: This is… um… (while thinking)
Something along the line of treasuring the harmony among people, I think. Someone who tries to make the situation better, gets along well with everyone, bridges the differences, it’s something like that.
Q: How does your family call you?
A: KAZU. Have they ever called me Kazunari? No, I think it’s always Kazu.
Q: Which part of your personality or behavior that people said never changed since a long time ago?
A: I will totally immerse myself in things I like, but I wouldn’t even touch things that I don’t like. I’ve always been like this since a long time ago.
Q: Is there any particular time when you feel like that?
A: When I went to my family house recently, my sister said to me “Haven’t you worn that top for more than 10 years?” Because of that, I finally realized that I’ve worn it for more than 10 years. Such gap is indeed very intense.
Q: Do you have a certain routine in choosing your clothes?
A: That’s right. Because I’m not the type who goes out a lot, I go straight home after finishing my job, hence my choice in clothes is pretty much decided. Or you could say I always wear the same clothes (laugh). I don’t know what to wear anymore when I go out.
Q: What kind of clothes coordination that you often wear in private?
A: Jeans and T-shirt, as well as the top I wore for more than 10 years (laugh). If I go out for a meal or for a celebration, I would opt for a shirt instead, but I haven't worn one for the last couple of months.
Q: If you have to say about yourself in one phrase, what kind of person is Ninomiya-san?
A: I’m often told that I am “a weird person”. Generally, if someone spends a day with me, he will say so. The people who are kind would say that I am “unique” (laugh).
Q: The word “xx-man” is trending right now. What kind of man do you think you are?
A: What kind of man I am indeed? I don’t really meet people, or how do you say it, I’m often alone. Even when I go out to have a meal I also go by myself.
Q: The aloof man?
A: It sounds a bit lonely like that (laugh). Maybe “the man who enjoys being alone”.
Q: Is there any particular time when you feel that you’re an A blood type of person?
A: Almost never, I think. I don’t really care about anything, especially when I am working. I’m also not a detailed person. Well…, maybe I just don’t know much about the characteristics of the A blood type. Apart from Master Aiba (Masaki), all of our people (Arashi members) have A blood type, but I don’t feel there’s a big difference in regards to it.

A: Eyes, I think. I suppose, in my life, the organs that I use the most are my eyes. I always play games, watch TV; I dare say I use my eyes much more than people in general, that’s why it helps that my vision isn’t deteriorating.
Q: Is there anything that you’re trying to get used to?
A: Not really, maybe to the uncertainties. On the contrary, I don’t have a particular habit, or should I say, I’m getting used to doing things without any fixed patterns.

A: That will be idol, of course.
Q: Which women fashion item that you think is cute?
A: I think it’s the skirt. Skirt was made for girls, created to make the girls look cuter. No matter if it’s long or short, I think skirts are cute.

A: Have I bought anything? …. None that I can remember. Maybe if I were to start collecting something, I would never stop. I’ll just keep on collecting, it will be terrible if I lose interest in it.
Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home?
A: Sit down. I don’t really decide on things I have to do, such as what time should I take a bath or something like that. No matter what, I sit down first. That’s about it.

A: Ah, the place is decided. There is this L shaped sofa; I sit on the one at the left edge of the long side. Only that part is dented, the others are still looking like new (laugh). The basic position is decided to always be there, because it makes me feel relaxed after all.

A: Mostly sweat pants and T-shirt. I don’t wear things like pajamas.
Q: What makes you relax when it’s time to sleep?
A: It’s also the left side (of the bed). If I stay in the middle of the bed, I won’t be able to fall asleep.
Q: Is your seat in a car is decided?
A: That one is also the left side seat. I sit in the back of the seat next to the driver. Once I sleep there for some time, I won’t be able to sleep if there is no wall to my left. Such addiction feels nice, I’m afraid.
