Call me the Smoothie King!
Ok well time for a little update. Things have been going pretty good as of late. Last week was good because I got to watch a lot of good tv because the nights I was supposed to ref it rained so that meant I got to watch tv instead. Things have become pretty boring but it should pick up. Some things that are coming up:
Oct 12-16th Mckinney (for yom kippur)
Oct 21- 23rd San Antonio/Austin (for the UT Tech game)
Oct 28-30th Fall Conclave (At camp!)
Nov 11-13th Religous School Retreat
Nov 17- 21st Biennal (maybe)
Nov 23-27th San Antonio
So I hope that all of these things will keep me busy and keep me from being so bored. One imporant event is that on sunday I find out if I am going to biennal or not because by then I should find out if I got the SWC sponsorship or not. So keep your fingers crossed.
Ok so one of the main reasons why I updated was to tell everyone about the step that I have taken. As of next week I will have completed and turned in my transfer application to the University of Texas at Austin. I am doing this with not absolute certainty that if I get in that I will be going but I want to see if I can get in. More for peace of mind than anything. I just feel like maybe that will be the best place for me. However this brings up a totally new point of what the hell I want to do with my life. I know that I would like to be up at camp and just live in the happy bubble that is Greene Family Camp but I know I should probably have a back up to this whole plan. My major right now is Psych and I love it. However my mom being the realist she is keeps reminding me that it is harder to get into a psych masters/PHD psych program than it is to get into law, medical or any other grad school. This puts a real damper on my career in psych because well grades have never really been my thing. My wonderful and amazing girl friend brought up something that I hadn't thought about in that I am really good with people. I just have a certain ease and niceness when I am talking to people that for the most part makes me a nice guy. Plus I realized I am really good with telling people what they want to hear and talking my way out of problems. So I thought what would be a career that matches all of these. The only one I could come up with was a politican. So I think I will ponder on that but however in like 15 years please vote for me.
I am going to end this update with things I like;
1. Paying for a small strawberry banana smoothie and getting a large one (I have one almost every morning with breakfast)
2. Naping daily
3. Talking to my Jelly( well really anything having to do with my jelly)
4. Hey _______ I LOVE YOU (saying there name as if you are going to yell at them and then yelling I LOVE YOU)
5. Seeing my family (tomorrow!!)
6. My phone
7. My douche bag stock broker blue tooth head set for my awesome phone.
8. Peanut butter crackers
9. Peanut butter M & M's
10.Pumkin spice cake doughnuts
Peace for now and and by the way it is 50 out right now. O how I love Lubbock
