(no subject)
i really looooooooove budapest. its such a beautiful city! yesterday we went to the cemetary and then to the zoo, which was highly amusing as it had prarie dogs in it, and a couple families of ducks. yes, niffer, i saw ducklings. cutest damn things, too. just little balls of fluff. there was one who seemed like the slow one, always away from the rest, not quite sure what to do with himself...he became our Alfonso. we took lots of pictures.
imagine our surprise when we came back to the hostel and found mary-ellen and danielle from Krakow here!!! theyre actually staying in the same roooooom as us! its so awesome. theyre bringing back all our memories of krakow...*tear*. its hard to believe that prague is our last stop. im going to holland to see jessie, but still, its strange that this is almost done. again *tear*.
today we went to the synagouge with mary-ellen and danielle, which was soooooo beautiful, ill be so disapointed if my pictures dont come out, and then i went to the house of terror with a girl in our room, corey. its very interesting, its the building where the dreaded ávh police had their headquarters, and it was really interesting. we were supposed to get a headset, but couldnt figure out where they were and all this other junk. *sigh* the place is pretty self explanitory, and ill tell ya, if you didnt think the communists were bad BEFORE, theyre freaking satan after that. padfoot, if youre ever in budapest, youd dig it. its really interesting, and its one of the better laid out museums ive ever seen. ill put a link to it on here later. for now i have to go, my time is up. ta all.
