Happy New Year, all. Hoping this finds you in good spirits.
Here's to having a chance to wipe the slate clean, reflect on life and prioritize. May you all find countless opportunities to laugh, to love, to hope, to forgive yourself for past mistakes and to be honestly happy.
That sounds cheesy, but I feel as if so many people, myself included, just can't concentrate on the here and now. Their minds wander and they can't fully enjoy life as they live it. Don't be one of the people who wonder how time went by so fast. Be truly present in your life, and don't worry about the things you can't control. There's no use in trying to cross a bridge before you've even come to it.
I'd ramble further, but a warm bed beckons, and I think this little girl is going to start off the year with a good night's sleep.
