Next week tomorrow, we'll be married -- for the first of three ceremonies, at any rate! A week from tonight is the rehearsal dinner at Spiaggia, and then the two Chicago receptions will be there too.
Friday is my last day at work for several weeks, though I think Michael will be doing some work on Monday if he can't get everything finished by then as well. Even then, he'll have his Treo and PINpoint phone just in case. Anne is throwing me a party this weekend that, I've been told, might spill over into Monday too. I'll be throwing a similar party for her later this year before she and Ryan get married.
My parents are staying here while we're away on our honeymoon. They already have plans with Michael's parents, along with Lady Vivian and some other Tower people. I've been trying to keep up with thank-you notes as much as possible, and it's been a challenge. My family might be small, but Michael's is huge. And I am probably forgetting lots of things right now, but with any luck, we'll pull everything off without much of a hitch!
