How awesome is that quote in the subject line? Its by Henry Wadworth Longfellow.

Part Two of that question meme.

Under the cut are questions from jikeidannin, davyn, kellenanne, winteraconite, and calm_isolation.

Yay, long-winded answers. )

*laughs and shakes head at your motherness* maybe that's where all mine went ... I have like ZERO desire to be a parent ... I just don't want that kind of responsibility ... maybe if I ever get seriously involved with someone, maybe then, but right now, that's just not happening ... I've babysat for enough people to know what it's like, though I did freak a friend out one time when they came home to find me asleep on the couch with their baby asleep on me, on my side by the couch back ... it made me laugh cause I don't move AT ALL when I've got a baby sleeping with me. more proof of that ... one time, my mom and I were babysitting for two families, one a little bit older than the other, but still babies (like 18 mos or less range) and one was sick, so we put the younger, not sick boy in the crib and the older sick boy in bed with me (I had a queen sized bed at the time) and during the night, he started fussing, which woke me up, and I was in the exact same position I was when I went to bed with my body curved around the edges of the bed that were exposed so he couldn't roll off. *grins* I only like kids when I can give them back ... most of the time.

and yes, people suck ... my grandma can be the same way, but I think she's mellowing a bit.

*sighs* you and I need to actually get to chat more *hugs*

I've wanted to be a mom since I was really young. What I've wanted to do in life has changed a lot, but the one thing that remained the same was my desire to have kids. =D
