I'm quite possibly over-medicated right now, so I need someone who isn't, um, feverish and overmedicated at the moment to give me their opinion right now.
I have an English assignment. We have to demonstrate our understanding of the hardships of slave life by writing five "diary" entries from a slave point of view (nevermind hardly any slaves were allowed to learn to read or write). That's fine. I can do that.
My question is this: would it be really bad of me to write mine Very Secret Diary style? Like, y'know,
Amount of cotton picked: too high to count. Avoided getting whipped, go me!
Still not free - v. disappointing.
'Cause I think that might be inappropriate, but I'm not sure.
Will have to decide when the room stops spinning.
