Okay. Plan to be all academically awesome hit a minor speed bump this week, in that I am a crazy insomniac who couldn't stick to a normal sleep cycle if her life depended on it. Hence why I was doing laundry at 4 in the morning today.
So, hey, want to hear something awesome? The house FINALLY sold! Like, for *real* this time. No take backs and crazy threats of lawsuits or anything! Yeah, it finally sold this Friday -- and it only took ... two and a half years of trying or something? Ugh. It feels so good to not have to worry about that anymore. It was a little touch and go for a while there, because the buyer was apparently being a douche about little details with the heat we'd already paid a dude to check out two times before, but whatever. It's sold. I finally have money again! (... I'm still poor though!)
In other news: Burger King totally offers a cupcake milkshake now, and can be we talk about how totally awesome that is? Because I totally had one this weekend. No, seriously. Cupcake milkshake. The review I linked to is pretty accurate in describing it (it tastes like a cupcake); if you get one I recommend getting a small or a medium though. I had a large and it got a little overwhelming at the end, even for me, a certified sugar addict.
I look forward to getting diabetes with that drink.
10 days until my epic road trip to 'Rora and Scott's wedding, btw. I am so excited, even though I'll have to take a Greyhound bus at 5:30!
