Bored out of my mind
My interview at Radio Disney is on Monday. Mmm, what to wear, what to wear. Clothes, I guess, is a start. I'm sending in my app to Old Navy on Monday. Would go today or tomorrow but will not have a car as my parents are gone yet again for another weekend getaway, this one in Friday Harbor.
How annoying is it that as soon as my parents start going out of town, most of my friends are gone?
Had a very, very good week. One of those weeks where for no particular reason everything just went well and had a very good time. Spent most of it with Ben, which normally would annoy me to the point where I'd have to bop him in on the head at least twice, but no such boppings occured.
Got my approval letter for my deferral from Dean Fondiller the other day. *Must* fill it out and send in $400 deposit within two weeks, but can't yet as I have to get something cleared up first. Tell me what's wrong with this letter:
Dear. Ms. Kristjansson: I am delighted to inform you that the Committee on Admission has approved your request for deferment of your enrollment in Barnard College until January 2005.
January 2005?! WTHF. (What the holy fuck, I think the "holy" adds something quite nice to the statement). So I emailed Dean Fondiller and asked her if it was a mistake. Here's to hoping it is, otherwise I am, once again, fucked. (Or, if you want to be like Mason from Dead Like Me, you can say "viciously fawked".)
Yesterday in a fit of boredom I started a Barnard 2009 community. Of course no one will be joining until April, but I'm hoping I will find maybe a couple of prospies or defer-ers.
I think I'll ask someone to take me to the Ave today so I can try to sell off a bunch of my old clothes at thrift stores (such as the ever-so-lovely Buffalo Exchange.)
