entry for jennie
Well.. I've been pretty busy and lazy lately, hence the lack of entries. I quit ace because my dad really wanted me to, so I could spend more time with him. He's doing really bad.. he can barely get his thoughts across now, and even then they usually come out all garbled and mixed up. He's always really depressed and sad now, as well, which is really hard to deal with. I can't even treat him like a normal person anymore.. he's gotten so bad that he basically needs complete round-the-clock care. okay, well, back to the Ace thing.. yesterday was my last day.. but.. I didn't really quit. I'm taking a "leave of absence" until further notice.. but I'm going to help them out the day after thanksgiving since it's going to be very busy. It's kind of a relief knowing I won't have to go straight to work afterschool most days, or spend my weekends there. Now I can maybe start my college applications, or work on some more scholarships. I do feel bad about leaving just when it's starting to get a lot busier though. oh well. My dad has a doctor appointment tomorrow where he'll find out if the radiation worked at all... if the tumor is mostly dead, or just a tiny bit smaller.
on another note, I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Saturday I'm going to Grace's and grilling with her, vincent, and kenneth like we did last week at vincent's. mmm, I love grilled food (steaks and sausages!!!). Hopefully I'll hang out with jennie and adrienne sometime too! I rarely see them.
Mr Zureich finally left.. our new teacher is an asian! haha, he sounds EXACTLY like Henry, it's crazy. he's kind of a jerk though.. I'm pretty sure he's not going to let me sleep like zureich did. Also.. I guess he thinks he's being funny and "cool" when he tries to give chris a hard time... but it just comes across really pompous.
Tomorrow I have to do that dumb NHS induction for the new members.. it's gonna take up my whole night that I should be studying for calc, english, eco, and statistics. I guess I should probably get to some studying tonight.. while watching tv of course. since I probably won't post again, I hope everyone has a nice and safe thanksgiving break!
