(no subject)
Ah, internet has been downn. I think it was our router? Anyways, we got a new one so hopefully it will work now.
In case you haven't heard.. I'm terribly ill. On.. Monday, I woke up and felt really horrible, like I had a hangover or somesuch. As the day progressed, I kept getting chills (even though Jennie was somewhat hot) and feeling faint/dizzy. So then, when I got home, I took my temperature and it was like 102.. but it got up to around 103.5 on tuesday. Went to the doctor yesterday.. got all checked out.. and they think I have an infection.. but I guess they thought it sounded worse or something? so they took my blood and ran some tests, but those mostly came back okay. I'm on antibiotics..which they aren't even sure if they're going to work with whatever strain I have? pssh, they're running another test on that one. ANYWAYS, jennie talked to some people at work and they fixed the schedule so I don't even have to call in sick, and instead have today and tomorrow off. Hopefully I'll be better by friday. I keep giong back and forth from getting chills, to sweating (nice, huh?), horrible headaches, dizzyness, neck/back aches, stomach pains? you name it. It sucks.
well, on a different note, the insurance company decided to total my car, and only give me... $4,200 for it (after 500 deductible and taking off another 500 for the dented doors). bastards, it's totally worth more than that. arggh. my mom has argued with them for a while, but that's actually their highest and final offer. SO, I need to find myself a car.. if anyone is selling one , or knows of one for sale that's in the $4,000 price range (and not too horribly banged up) with.. well, I'd rather nothing over 100,000 miles, but we'll see. My dad is starting radiation soon (which is every freakin day.. sometimes twice!), so I'm going to have a hard time finding a way to get to work. My mom takes one of the cars to work, and my sister will take the other to take my dad to his appointments. Hopefully all this crap will get sorted out soon, it's frustrating.
That's about it.. I'm sick and my car is dead. I haven't seen friends in a couple of weeks because I've been working kind of a lot.. and then tired when I get home. Oh well, school starts soon, and orientation is sooner, so I'll at least see them in, like, 5 days.. unless I'm scheduled to work, err.
