Awww that's too adorable! I don't think I could ever have any of my three cats live outdoors. Must be tough for you...

it is EXTREMELY tough... you have no idea... but we are moving in with my fiance's parents and my future mother-in-law put her foot down, she wasn't going to let me bring him at all, so this was all we could arrange... it kills me, but it won't be for long, and when we move again i will make him indoor again

TOO cute! It's raining here right now and I wish i could find as comfy a place to cozy up to!

and...I had my cat for 14 years (she died in January)...never once did she spend a day outside--though boyfriend suggested it all the time! it would have been very hard for me, too.

ooooh, i am so sorry to hear that :(
yeah, Artin gives me a lot of crap about having him indoor only, but it's just safer i think...

this is the only way i can keep him though, so i have to e strong, i am getting him microchipped in case he gets lost or anything.

i think microchipping is a good idiea...i once thought my cat had somehow gotten outside because i couldn't find her--for three days!!! then, one day, i was walking in the garage and heard her crying! somehow, she had gotten into the garage and wormed her way through a hole under the stairs. well, my cat, Selina was her name, wouldn't cooperate with my efforts at getting her back through the hole....so we ended up taking apart the stairs! even though Selina never showed any interest of going outdoors, i always worried that if she somehow got outside, she'd get lost and wouldn't be able to find her way back.

but...my cat definitely didn't have street smarts...at the first sign of stress--she'd become CATatonic.

i get really scared of shabby getting out, and i am super scared of how he will adapt to being outside, i hope he'll still be as loving and into people... he is so friendly and i want him to stay that way

i cant believe he has to live outdoors!
i lived out in the country, so my cats always came in and out as they pleased. Sabi is indoor only, but i feel bad for her because she stares so intently out windows and doors.
Sabi is passed out on the couch between me and brandon right now. god, she's too cute!

oh god he tries to get out all the time, i am sure he will love it!
and i am TOTALLY setting up a bed for him, and my actual plan is to just sneak him in at night and let him sleep with me, then let him out the window in the morning.
