Lately I've been thinking a lot about the rain. Here's a couple of pieces I wrote about the rain and how it makes me feel, enjoy. :)

Sitting beside the window- grey light of a bleak sky drips into my room as I close my eyes. Listening to the sound of my heart, listening to your voice in time with the relentless rhythm of rain on my roof. You're near me forever, but always so far away. The rain brings us together, the scent that reminds me of you. Closing our eyes, miles apart we hear eachother's voices in time with the relentless rhythm of the rain on our roofs.

tic tic (pause) tic tic-tic tic tic (pause) tic-tic tic-tic tic-tic (pause) tic tic tic tic-tic (pause) tic (pause) tic-tic tic tic-tic tic-tic tic-tic (pause) tic-tic tic-tic tic-tic (pause) tic tic tic-tic

Morse code; I love you, a repeating message carried on the winds by the rain drops.

*****

The smell
Everything is so much heavier
But you and I are swimming
Rain-soaked, through the clouds
In the mud
The way city lights make your face white
And our breath is mist

The warmest in a cold night
Our lips touch, our hearts beat
Intrinsically
Our hips touch, our eyes adjust
Inexorably
Drops fall all around us
We're alone with everyone else in the world
I'm alone with you,
I feel I've never been

That's pretty much it. Nice to meet you all.
