There is something I learnt about human relationships. They are fickle. Once rosy, they turn into a living hell, until there is finally nothing at all. Relationships are never a straight line. It's more like a dashed line, with interruptions here and there.
I honestly do not believe in stability neither in longevity. Stability cannot exist because human beings change - some more than others. It's natural. It's part of life, man. Don't fight it.
You know, what I do find strange are those expected or unexpected reunions. When you see a person again after a long time, and you do not really know how you feel about it. You do not even know what to say "He...Hel..Hi!" It is that moment where you wish you could have just walked straight ahead, but you are still glad to see the other person because you are curious to know if something has changed. That is the moment where your dashed line takes off again. After that reunion, you go your separate ways again. That is the moment where the line ends. Again. And again, and again and again.
Like a dashed line ... It starts, then stops, until it finally ends at one point.
