hung out at the cemetery today.
i haven't been in one in a long time. at least.. not an american one.
sat under a tree with a couple of grave markers. non-awkward silence.
it was a good time.
a good reminder.
no one is gonna remember you just because you have a huge tombstone sitting on some serious cemetery real estate with benches and water etched portraits on granite. in fact, no one is probably ever going to remember you unless you change history or impact culture significantly or kill a whole bunch of people or something. make it count for God, who is forever. and make it count to other people.
