Gag Reflex!

Yeah, this morning definitely was a... vital testing in the limits of my gag reflex.

I had customer service as my first position and Batmunkh put Euna, Renata and I into cleaning the quayside. OH MAN, some of the piles of rubbish included pieces of corn, hair, potatoes, sludge, plastic, and, my personal favorite, maggots. We were cracking up so hard, while being utterly disgusted, and attempting to sing songs of praise with lyrics like, "What can make me white as snow? Nothing but the blood of Jesus"... and a good 'ol shower.

The day before yesterday was a major suckfest because I had my E-day (Evangelism Day) but I was really sick. Our team got to go to a remote village/town located behind a cemetery and deliver... OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD PRESENTS! When they came back and I found out, man oh man, :( I've been helping with Operation Christmas Child, preparing gifts at Home of Christ 3, but I never thought I'd get the chance to be a DELIVERER of the presents and see their smiles! And I was sick - lame. Loads of people aren't feel too fab because of the environment (super polluted), the water (just a guess), and coming in contact with so many new bacteria, etc. Pray for us please!

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, do not be dismayed, for the Lord Your God is with you wherever you go." I've been learning to memorize Scripture and it helps so much in encouraging myself and others throughout the day. Too bad my memory is atrocious and it takes SUCH constant repetition, but that's even better. After praying about it, I've decided to take the job change to Section Coordinator of the bookshop, we'll see how that goes!
