hi y'all. been a little while since ive updated in here. just wanted to say everything's fine. im doing better this week. i was with my dad last weekend and i got my dress for winter formal. kinda scared to wear it, but im going to. this is somethign i need to do for myself. im always picking the same things, going with the normal and just kinda blending in. i dont want to anymore though. this is the way i wanna do it this year...maybe next year thigns will be back to "normal", but i sure hope not. lol. i luv my dress though. it's so emosewa! so yea, here's a poem/song i was assigned to write for English. it's supposed to be a song o protest. can u guess what im protesting?
In this land we call America
We boast and speak of liberty
Though this place of justice
Isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be
People singing, children laughing
Only Act one of this play
For during a brief intermission
The smallest things may go array
We concentrate on the faults of others
Saying something should be done
When truthfully
We have our own battles to be won
From the outside looking in
It seems like nothing is really wrong
So we ignore humanity’s harsh realities
This cannot go on for long
Many dying, people crying
These things cannot go ignored
So take heed for what is to come
You have been forewarned
