Busy weekend- waltz, great people, Inception, board game, etc
I took my first lesson on Waltz (at Jasmix) this weekend. Cross-step and Viennese. Viennese is dizzying for someone inexperienced like me. It's like being in the Disneyland tea cup, but i think i'm starting to get the hang of it. A little. I do like cross-step better so far.
Also did some swing dancing on Saturday night :-)
Saw Inception on Friday night. Loved the movie and think it is the best movie I've seen in a while (maybe in the last 2 years?)
Also played Race for the Galaxy. I find it to be a really challenging boardgame. My new friends love playing that game, and my boyfriend helped me play the first two games with me. Still only understanding a little bit of it. Anyone play that game and got addicted?
Today, I did the AIDS walk with my coworkers. 10km in 3 hours. My legs are tired, but I still got a chance to stop by Lindy in the Park and danced to 3 songs before the event was over.
