Geez, I haven't been in this thing in ages.
Since I've been so far behind, I started by reading from Charlotte's talk about politics until now. Mostly I just picked a random spot and went on from there. Kudos to you Charlotte for your lovely artwork. :) Everytime I see your new stuff I can see you getting better and better and all the more talented. I really mean that :)
Ah, the election. Some months back, I started to watch McCain and Obama participate in a debate, but about 20 minutes or so into it I realized how utterly disgusted I was this election. Since then I've pretty much kept myself away from politics. I did not vote. (I was afraid I would regret it later) I did flip to a news channel on election night to see who won, but I haven't checked out the news since then. Perhaps that is not the brightest thing to do....And yet, here I am perfectly content with my ignorance. =P
I've been crazy busy at Miller. I'm so glad to be a pre-service teacher! (that's the title.) I love interacting with the students and creating lesson plans and working with other teachers. It's hard work to make those interesting lessons, but it sooo worth it when you are able to connect with your students. There is no doubt in my mind now that this is what I want to do with my life.
I registered for my final semester in college. I'm so excited about that because I'll start my student teaching. That will surely be interesting. Oh, and I signed up for my senior/capstone English class....yeah, I'm hoping that my prof. will knock out that 25 page final paper. To me that seems ridiculously unnecessary. eh.
On a random note, has anyone had a fruitista from Taco Bell? ohmahgawd, I love it.
