Southern Magnolia in Zone 6b

Aug 20, 2015 09:16

Yesterday I planted the tiny Southern Magnolia that I rooted from a small twig taken from a tree growing in Shadyside on Howe Street this February 2015.
I'm amazed they are evergreen and survive Pennsylvania's zone 6 winters.
I hope my baby tree survives, it is so small.

Simple pleasures like this make me so happy.
