Pretty Good Day
Yes, you read my title of this journal entry correctly. I had a great time yesterday, and I will never forget it. It all starts out like this *cheezy flashback effects begin*
So, Andrew comes over at like 3:30 and we were going to go to the skatepark and steal some skateboards, unfortunatley it was raining. Our plans were ruined for the time being, and so we sat around playing on the computer, and just talking about what we were going to do for the rest of the day. So, at 4:30 we left to go to the rockhouse, because we were going to get there at like 5:00 (this is all PM by the way). So, we finally get there, and we asked directions, and on the way we saw these protestors. So, we pulled up slow, to see what was on the signs, and it was protesting against pornography in a certain video store. I immediatly rolled down my window and said to them "I love Porn!" and we drove off. Its funny, because to think that this 45 year old guy gets a response from a 15 year-old asshole, saying he likes porn, its actually pretty funny. After Andrew and I laughed that off, we got to the rock house.
So, we finally arrive at the Rock House. We went there because some local bands were playing. I mean the top of the top local bands. My friends band Nothing But Silence as playing there, that was mainly why I went. Also The Fifth Element and Lodis C was playing, and they are really good. Everybody was there at the rock house, and I mean everybody. The first show was Nothin But Silence, I happen to think they did a great job, and everyone else thought so too! So Neo Geo was up next, and they did alright, and they had this unique style of music, it was punk with weird keyboard put into it. (Not a synthesizer). Then came Lodis C, they were really heavy, and they rocked so much. Their band members were hardcore, which was cool. Then came Fifth Element, they reminded me of Linkon Park, but a little heavier. After that I got to talk to pretty much every band, which was even better.
All together it was a good show.
