Last week's birthday was awesome, and this week's dual birthday madness was epic as well. Corporate Hoes and CEOs was the theme of the evening, whilst last week's was Tacky Rollerskating. Two incredible times with enthusiastic friends. Though, I must say that last night had much more drunkenness. We painted a very pretty beer pong table, which will get a ton of use in this last half of the semester. This past week has been great-- Carrie, Rachel, Steve, and Kate came to visit for my birthday weekend until Sunday. Wes flew in from CO on Wednesday night and I spent St. Patty's Day with him, Kelly, Kate, and James at James' celebrating. Friday I stayed afterschool with Jim to work at the dance.... haha. SO FUNNY. Kelly took us out for birthday dinners, which was a fun time until I felt like I was going to puke. ::groan:: I managed to be very productive throughout the weekdays, I have been rigorously checking ads for New Jersey teachers, and I sent out seven cover letters and resumes back. Tomorrow I'll send three more. I hope that something comes out of these, I know that it is very hard to get a job in Jersey now, but I hope to have an edge on other first year teachers by having my Masters. I am confident that JMU has done a great job preparing me, and my observations throughout my career here seem to agree. Spring has arrived, and I'm desperate to get outside in the sunshine again. Short week at BMMS this week, I plan to drive home on Thursday after school lets out. I cannot wait to get back at home for a few days. It will count as my spring break since we didn't get JMU's break. So, I have two days of scheduled break... damn it. I figure at least I'll miss the traffic by starting out on Thursday and coming back sometime Monday.
