My grandfather called me earlier and asked for a final date for my trip to England, because he was about to start looking for flights! ^__^ I don’t think that he has booked one yet, but… at least he’s looking, so it shouldn’t take much longer. I checked out a website that listed a few not too long ago, and most of them were only about $600-something for a round trip. That’s still expensive, but compared to paying over a thousand dollars if they were booked later on, it’s a good deal. I can’t wait. ♥ My grandfather has been so nice about it… I feel kind of bad that he insisted on paying for it, because he’s already done so many things for everyone in the family.
But, I’m planning to work hard in order to earn all of my own spending money for the trip! I talked to our old neighbor today about babysitting her daughter, Marissa, and as far as I know I’ll be starting that job next week. I’m not sure exactly how long or often I’ll have to do it, but I’m going to call her later to discuss all of the details. I’ll probably get around $100 or so each week, judging by what she was telling me, so that won’t be too bad. (Especially when I add it to what my mom pays me for taking care of Jake while she works!) I’m also going to help keep two of my younger cousins, Cameron and Kaitlyn, for about two weeks when they come to visit. That’ll be… four kids all at once, so start praying for me, people. Heh. O_O;
Anyway, not much else has been going on lately. This month has been really fun because I went to see Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, and Pirates of the Caribbean 3 right when they came out! I don’t have the time (or the willpower) to sit and write long reviews for each one, but I will say that I wasn’t disappointed with any of them, for the most part! My only peeves were that 1) Spiderman had too many out-of-place, corny scenes, 2) the storyline for Shrek was kind of lacking, even though it was funny, and 3) Pirates didn’t really end the way that I wanted it to. Unlike most people, the length didn’t bother me that much, but… there was still so much going on, that it became a bit confusing at times. And there were some really sad parts. ._. I was still pleased with all of the movies, though, and can’t wait to watch them again!
I better go now, since Jake and I are about to watch Sleeping Beauty. (And no, I am NOT forcing him to! He actually wants to see it. xD) It’s one of my favorite Disney movies, so I’m looking forward to it. ♥
