Oh Saturday how I have missed you. It seems like it's been weeks since we've been able to spend any decent time together.
Yup - with our weekends being so damn crazy most of the time, I haven't been able to really enjoy a decent day off. Now, I have an excuse. I need to relax since I'm on the mend from being sickly. Doctor's orders right? =)
Actually, I find it quite nice to just sit here and really do nothing. I have my cup of coffee, my laptop, and I'm parked at the dining room table just kicking back and enjoying the morning. I actually set my alarm clock so I wouldn't miss out on this little bit of quiet time. Although my husband did just get The Godfather, so I think I may have this peace and quiet all day. Oh hell, who am I kidding - I'm lost to Kingdom Hearts II until Sean calls for dinner. Hey at least I'm honest with myself.
Random thoughts:
When my dog was with us in the apartment - well...she didn't have to go out as much. Lately I've noticed that she's spending mucho time outside. It's like she has to run the perimeter every hour to make sure the dog next door doesn't piss on her side of the fence. And even though she does this - she still chases bunnies - just so she can sniff them. Not to kill, not to eat. Just wants to sniff.
Retarded dog.
There is a girl at my work who's getting "married". I say "married" because she doesn't have the ring yet (and unlike Bri and I, where the ring was a formality) - this guy hasn't even asked her yet. Has told her that he won't be asking her for at least another year. She has spent the last two weeks on the phone every day talking about the "wedding" and how she's going to do this and blah blah blah. Now seriously people. When I got married, I know I drove people bonkers. It is what it is. But I also know there is a time and place for everything and I never spoke of wedding planning at work. SHE WON' SHUT THE FUCK UP! It's making me really crazy!
Why is my house so cluttered? Every one that hits my door says my house is really clean, but I really don't see it. Maybe it's because my mom made me OCD about keeping my house clean. It's like I can't get it clean enough. And to make it worse, my husband is a slef proclaimed slob. Beauty.
I think that may be all for this morning. I will be posting the drama between my sister in law and I - simply because a few folk have asked for it.
That is all - go on with your regularly scheduled morning.
