I think I'm finally maturing. I used to get so jealous so easily whenever I suspected that my husband was flirting, or if he ever talked about another female.
Today, he helped one of his coworkers with her car for over 3 hours, and it didn't even phase me.
I guess her car broke down on her way to work yesterday, and since it was on the road, the police had to tow it and impound it. She had to pay $250 to get it out, and then more $ to fix it, and she had no way to pay to have it towed to a mechanic. So Rusty volunteered to use my truck and his stepdad's trailer and haul it around for her.
Kelly (his stepdad) called this morning and said he realized there were no ramps to get said car onto the trailer, so he went ahead and rented a car trailer for us. Wow, I know nice people.
So Rusty went and got her car, took it to the dealership (she found out it's still under warranty), then took her to get her check cashed and back to her house.
I teased him a bit when he came home and asked if she did any favors in return, his reply: "I could never cheat on you, and especially not with her, she has her pet mice in her kitchen and she doesn't own a vacuuum."
It cracks me up when he talks about being completely unattracted to someone because their cleanliness standards aren't good enough for him (is it any surprise that nothing turns him on more than seein me in the shower?). Although, I don't think I could ever have sex with someone who never vacuumed, and had pet mice on their kitchen counters, either.
