...at home at least. This is what we spent the entire afternoon working on:
Rewind to last night... after setting up the tree that we originally brought home, our dog Snow broke out in hives and her face swelled to 2 times its normal size. After rushing out to Walgreens at 11:30pm for some Benadryl, and waiting up with Snow until about 1am, her swelling finally subsided. Luckily it took effect fairly quickly, as we were about a minute away from packing her up in the car and rushing her to the after-hours vet. We finally pinpointed the tree as the culprit of the incident. She must have been allergic to the fiberglass branches. We packed up the tree, and out it went. We ended up going out this afternoon to find an upgrade. This one appears to be Snow-approved. Yikes. Major near-crisis averted!
Our trip back home to Miami last week tuckered us out, so we are planning on laying low this weekend. As great as it was to see my family and friends again, those damn coast-to-coast flights just kill me. It normally takes a good 3-4 days to recover. Can someone please invent a teleportation device already? Kthnxbye.
