[Redfining Life] Outtakes Book One

May 16, 2008 10:31

I have way too many pictures, and way too many things happen that I snap but can't work into the narrative. So, just for the hell of it, I decided to share a few of the outtakes from Chapters One and Two of Redefining Life.

There's one huge reason that I don't put a telescope onto a lot right away when I build. Any guesses as to why?

How's about this? Three seconds on the lot and Gene's already trying to piss off the neighbours. Lucky for him he has the only house around, and I've yet to see a random townie run up and shove someone. Granted, I do have a university connected with Farfallas now (I did that when Freddy hit teen) so there's potential of a pissed-off family member coming up at some point. It has yet to happen, plus it's a custom college. If anyone does show up I might fall over from shock.

Um, yeah. Remember that one of Gene's turn-ons is blond hair. Benji and Marisa both look pretty sparkly to him because of that.

For the record? Gene is my first completely bi sim. He hit equally on men and women until he locked onto Bill. And much much later on, after Bill departed the world (*sniff*) he turned his eye onto several ladies. Such a player ♥

Remember Gene losing his job in Chapter One? He certainly took things well, didn't he?

Not.

He did this right after making a date with Bill. It cracked me up because it almost looked like regret over going on a date. I was waiting for him to roll a fear for it or something; up until he retired he kept rolling the fear of being fired or demoted.

I also plan to spare everyone sixty billion pictures of Gene getting his groove thing on. Seriously. I know some sims are inclined to have One True Hobby, but he honestly spends so much time dancing that I was tempted to delete the radios!

He also spent a million years on this.

Bill is also guilty of this crime. At least he never made my ears bleed; he was damned near max creativity when he moved in, and with the machine Gene got there fast too.

I must admit that there have been a couple fires over the four generations I've played. There was one in generation three at college,

and there was this one. I'm still not sure what the hell Gene was trying to make, but it wasn't long after they crawled out of bed post woohoo. Hence Bill in his underoos. Gene, however, felt the dire need to bathe before setting the kitchen ablaze.

All together now: Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I so wish I could have worked this one in. I love sim couples so much. And these two were one of the sweetest I've ever had.

...I have no words. I cannot explain exactly how heartfarting over Amin Simms while talking about your date with your husband could be a good thing, Gene. Never in a million years.

Oh, and pregnancy? It changes nothing. Still spying on the trees and grass.

Also, it always amuses me to no end to watch pregnant sims dancing. I just wonder how they can get back up after some of those moves!

Okay, okay. The silliness needs to end. But one last thing before I close this up:

Yes, Bill. You have a baby.
