My copy of 358/2 Days apparently shipped on the 29th and will be here approximately Monday, which I did not know until just now. That's pretty cool. I've been playing Re:CoM all day in anticipation for Days, because even though I've had it for about nine months now, I still haven't finished it. I'm only slightly ashamed of this, owing to that damn card battle system. I wasted most of yesterday playing Persona 3 and am more than a little bit frustrated knowing that I still have at least a day of play time left on it when I've already spent at least three solid days worth of time on it. It's a great game and all, I just can't help but start to wonder if it's really worth the time and effort to suffer through their bad voice acting. I guess none of them are pantsless ducks, though, so that is definitely a plus.
I just want to kill Donald, is that so wrong?
I auditioned yesterday to play the piano in the lobby of our nearby hospital. Well, I sort of did, and I say sort of because the woman who is actually in charge of the volunteer program was out sick, but I did still get to play the piano, and the employees who were there promised to email her and tell her how awesome I was. I was a little bit tempted to tell them not to bother because I sucked so hard on that damn piano, but I figured if they didn't notice then probably no one else did. That's one of the curses of being a musician: only you know how badly you suck and no one else will believe you. But anyways, yes, it looks like from now on I'm going to be filling the hospital lobby with the sounds of anime openings and game themes, since those are about the only things I know how to play at the moment.
Right now I seem to have this problem where I can't finish anything I'm writing. I have about three fics that are all in prime positions to end and yet refuse to do so. Anybody out there got any tips for this?
My Japanese teacher is the most adorable woman on the planet. She puts up with all of the pathetic community college otaku scum and yet is always cheerful. When she can't pronounce an English word she gets all flustered and then laughs it off. She shows J-Dramas as part of the class. It is quite honestly the most enjoyable class I have ever taken, despite some of the scary people in it. Also, assuming everything works out , we're going to Japan. You can't beat that.
