Did anyone notice?
Well, well, look who's back!
Yep, I've been taking a bit of a break from LJ. For several reasons. Firstly, I've not really had anything to say. Secondly, I've been kind-of busy with other things. There are other reasons too, but I'll keep them to myself.
But right now, I have some time on my hands and I have some news!
We has one of these...
In fact, we have that one!
Her name is Poppy, she's about 7 years old. We have written permission from the landlord, so it's all good.
She's ever so affectionate, if somewhat unfriendly to the neighbours' cats.
We got her from my boss, who needed to re-home her because she was not getting on well with their dog. The dog was a rescue dog and is very skittish especially around strangers, and so re-homing would be more difficult.
As I type this, she is lying at my feet!
