My son is Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD. It has made for a wild ride. Most likely it is genetic and most likely came from me, along with a clubbed foot.
I haven't the heart, nor inclination to actually get a diagnosis of anything for myself. I know I have "quirks" and choose to leave it at that.
(one of my favority quirks is a touch of OCD, like I have to park the car twice. I back in and HAVE TO pull forward and back in again. I can't seem to stop myself. It has to be perfectly aligned with the stairs. So, I do it twice.)
LOL. I don't "rehear" so much as go over and over and over conversations or scenarios in my head for situations that were all ready anxious, that makes me more anxious. But, that isn't so wrong.

I used to actually move my lips while doing so, but it was very noticeable, so I managed to train myself out of it - or at least, I think I did!
