So, we actually bought a mid-range one because Halfords has 50% off on many Sat-Navs for today. Paying £100 for a £200 item strikes me as being a good idea. We decided that, once we'd bought it, we'd go somewhere to test it out. Well, you have to test things... ;-)
On TV this morning (on a food porn show called Saturday Kitchen of all places), they mentioned that there was a Model Village in a town called Beaconsfield. Connie asked me where Beaconsfield was, and I checked. Turns out it's just North of Slough.
So off we went, first off to Halfords, then set the address of the place (found on the internet before we went out) into the new toy, and off to
Bekonscot Model Village.
