I feel really awful this morning. If I had a job where I was paid by the hour I'd phone in sick.

Unfortunately, if I phone in sick, I don't earn any money...

Going to dose myself on lem-sip, and hope that I can persuade the boss that I am far to ill to work.

Seriously, though, I'm not really bad enough to justify taking a day off, as long as there is stuff I can drink and/or swallow to make me feel ok.
