The Lead Situation
The company I work for is great at generating leads, usually. Each branch has a doorknock department, that employs kids, usually aged 16 - 25, University/college students wanting some extra money, sometimes people who are just wanting some extra cash, whatever. These kids go around knocking on doors offering people free surveys.
It's a shitty job, they have to put up with all sorts of crap, in fact it can be just a bit dangerous. They have to go around in groups, or at least in pairs, especially the good looking ones!
And just lately, the leads in our branch have been diabolical. Today, there are 9 leads between 8 of us...
Jason asked me how I'd like to spend a few days on the Isle of Wight in a B&B... Hell, yeah! Busman's Holiday! Plus, the IoW is pretty much virgin territory. From what Jason said, there's a back-log of 1500 leads over there...
Anyway, that won't happen until next week, probably. Meanwhile, my first lead today is at 6:00pm, and someone might join me on it... Back to bed for me...
