Sorry for all the late comments on my friends' posts.

I've been a bit busy and a bit unwell lately, at the same time. This does not make for much time to read LJ.

Today, however, I was supposed to be working this afternoon, but my car is STILL in the workshop. I rang them an hour ago to ask what was going on and they told me they were sent the ( Read more... )

I hope that you get to feeling better.

I agree it is much more important for the car to be in good shape, then to be working. Because as I've read your posts it seems like you really need the car for your job.

Um yeah... Without a car, I'm unable to work. Getting from one customer's home to the next requires something a bit more reliable than public transport, and just a tad quicker than a bicycle! ;)

Seriously, the amount of miles they expect us to do, they must also expect the occasional day off for car maintenance.

first off..... feel better

As for the wrong parts being sent, I hate when that happens, though it usually happens to me when I am waiting at the shop while they are fixing my car. At least you are at home and can play around in LJ while waiting :P

Thanks.

yep, I have the car back now, and the office said there's no point in going out now, so... *shrug*

The one thing that's pissed me off is that, if I'd known it was going to be all day, I could actually have done stuff. Never mind.

Thanks Pesh. Prellie says she feels much better now, but wants me to take it easy on her for a couple of days until the new parts have worn in. Me, I still feel kinda yuck, but a day off probably helped anyway.
