Tuskegee
I was watching the Tuskegee Airmen today, One of my favorite movies. If you haven't seen it, Watch it. If you have, Watch it again. Well I went to wiki and looked them up. They were so good the Germans called them Black Birdmen. I
The Luftwaffe soon awarded them the nickname, "Schwarze Vogelmenschen,"
or Black Birdmen, and started to avoid them when possible. The Allies
called the Airmen "Redtails" or "Redtail Angels" because of the
distinctive crimson paint jobs on their aircraft' vertical stabilizers.
I find it humorous that they avoided them, over anyone else.
