joining the club, i guess
life has been pretty... okay.
but in a good way.
this weekend was fun.
friday i hung out with laren for awhile, then went over to kevin's at night. we watched running with scissors, but i fell asleep. i didn't mean to, but my eyes wouldn't stay open. so i need to re-rent that, because it seemed like a decent movie.
saturday i went to work for like two hours. it was dead and i wasn't making any money, so i volunteered to go home. i spent time with the family and played cards. we had our easter dinner. then tim, ashley, steph, dan, and i decided to watch borat, and my mom watched it too, but sat behind everyone so we wouldn't see her laughing, and so it wouldn't be awkward for the rest of us. kevin came over and brought slurpies and watched it too.
easter sunday was fun. i went to church with my family in the morning. then we came back and got to hunt for easter eggs and baskets. i found mine last. go figure. my dad, i mean, the easter bunny, hid my sister's in the chute. that was funny. then i went to kevin's house for the rest of the day. his mom made crepes for breakfast. then we watched 'the champ' with his dad, mom, and brother. we all cried, except for the two ruskowski brothers because they are lame and insensitive. =P kevin and i ended up watching four movies that day, more or less, but i had fun.
yesterday i skipped my first class because i was too tired. i went to my second one. and i skipped my last one. what a good day. i went to the library and read a book - which i have not done in a long time - until laren called. we hung out and read arousing sex stories in her magazines. we met the monday night crew at applebees and almost got jumped by some stoners. then we went back to laren's and reminisced about the good old days.
i woke up this morning to go babysit, even though i'm supposed to have this week off. but it was okay because i didn't have to take the brats to school since they are on spring break this week. so i watched the news for awhile, and then one of the brats woke up, so we watched little rascals until 9, then i came home. $20 for two hours of tv watching is fine by me.
so here i am. tired as hell. usually when i get done babysiting, i have enough time to come home and go back to bed for an hour, but i didn't today. so that's why i am typing this. because i'm bored and i'm trying to keep myself from falling asleep.
so that's the boring update on what i did these past few days, but in other news...
1) i want to go to cedar point soooo badly. kevin and i are getting season passes, and once the park opens, we are planning on going every other wednesday. so if anyone wants to join us a time or two, DO IT!
2) i also want to go to tigers games. like wow. i am really excited for this season.
3) everyone keeps talking about going to canada, so i want to do that too. since i have never gotten intoxicated legally before.
4) i can't wait for it to get warm out. mostly for three reasons... volleyball, kickball, and bike riding. but mostly bike riding. i know, i'm a loser.
5) i am going to see TMNT tonight. mostly i'm just excited because i'm taking my little brothers, and since i never really hang out with them anymore, it should be fun.
6) i just did my taxes, and i'm getting $400 dollars back. !!!
7) i still don't know what i want to be when i grow up. i feel like it's too late, and i should have already decided, like everyone else. but i haven't. i hate school. i hate studying. and i hate working. and i'm not sure there is a good career out there for me.
but in a good way.
