I made James Wallis Morris Dance
James Wallis, formerly of Hogshead Publishing, and creator of the estimable Baron Munchausen, has been walking in aid of Cancer Backup. I challenged him to find a Morris dancing troupe and indulge in the traditional dance of England, hoping he would look slightly silly in a Wicker Man kind of way, towering above stunted country folk. I was hoping for shots of suspicious, hairy men looking at this strange interloper from the city.
Instead, the jammy devil managed to find a whole troupe of happy, beardless women, the Maenads with whom to dance. His fingers, and virtue are mercifully intact. Here is his take on events, and you can see more images here.
