Update, sort of
Sorry to everyone i haven't been around much, I miss you and still love you. Austin, your entries are awesome and fill me with emotion for you, I'm sorry i don't have the time or presence of mind at the moment to do them justice. You are an amazing special guy, never forget it.
So ... here's kind of what's been filling my thoughts of late. I hope you enjoy it.
I IMAGINE
Walking with you hand in hand through fields and by the river
Glowing golden in the setting sun,
With music in the air that only we can hear,
We duck under the bridge to say I love you and to kiss.
I brush away a tear of happiness that trickles down your cheek
And hold you close;
I feel your heartbeat strong against my own.
We are in time, in love more powerful than words can tell
Or others ever know.
We waited and it came to pass, this overwhelming thing
That gives us strength and joy beyond all dreams;
The time that was our enemy is now our loyal friend,
Embracing us and giving us eternity together,
And it will not let us go or drift apart.
The striking of the church bells calls us home;
We follow paths made for us and they open into wide horizons,
Massive skies, clouds bursting all around
To lift us up, and on top of the world
We look back down and see the ways that led to this,
The happy talks, the fights in sorrow
Always mended, pictures taken, sent with meaning,
Promises and wishes ringing true and clear as bells;
And all the wait was worth this precious moment as we touch again:
Such sweetness, such devotion, such completeness and such love
That time means nothing now except to draw us closer still,
And Spain and England hold their breath and boundaries dissolve,
Enfold us in the sunshine and the greenness, in the morning air
And night time dew.
Our laughter breaks the awestruck silence of the envious world
And in each other’s eyes we see the universe we made.
