One of the joys of running Whedonesque is the increasing number of PR emails we receive. Here's a sample beneath the cut.

Hair loss for anyone is a tragic thing, particularly for a celebrity actress like Kristen Stewart, who is at the height of her career after the blockbuster Twilight series. At only 23 years of age, the actress is rumored to find herself in deep in stress due to end of her role in the Twilight series and her split with actor Robert Pattinson. Stewart has been photographed with noticeable hair loss.

According to Dr. Ryan Welter, Chief surgeon at New England Center for Hair Restoration, stress can play a significant role in the loss of hair follicles. For a busy actress like Stewart who may or may not be eating correctly, sleeping well or taking care of herself hair loss can happen and can be noticeable. Also, using hair extensions will make things worse as it too adds a stress to the hair follicle from the constant weight of the extensions.

Dr. Welter can speak to this and what Kristen can do to help stop the hair loss now. Would you be interested in speaking to Dr. Welter? May we call you on this?

It may sound harsh to some but to many a prison jumpsuit is a blissful reality over a funeral suit, right?

Tim White escaped death on a cold February night in 1993, but after several stints in prison and three trips to rehab he found God at the bottom of a bottle.

Living in cesspool-type conditions, Jacksonville, FL-native White was considered the dregs of society. Growing up in a neighborhood called “Sin City,” White was seemingly destined for failure, crime and likely an early death. His album The Long Road Home earned a spot in the Top 30 in the Christian Country category on the Christian Voice Magazine music charts. And, his new memoir, At the End of the Road: One Man’s Journey from Chaos to Clarity, has also recently become available. In it, singer, songwriter, speaker, businessman and self-made millionaire, Tim White, describes how he went from being lost in addiction, homeless and confused, his dark prison stints and seemingly hopeless rehab stays to turning his life into a success story and testimony for those also facing adversity and addiction.

White can also address the following themes:

How ‘Societal Dreg’ Went from Penniless to a Millionaire
Former Addict Turned Christian Musician’s 5 Keys to Faith-Based Recovery
Mainstream Addiction: How Society Can Begin to Accept this Disease
Twenty Years Clean & Sober: Inside a Twelve Step Program
High on Life: How to Find a New Healthy Life Passion
I hope your audience finds value and even strength in this music and his book as well. Let me know if you’d like to chat with Tim about his music or would like a copy of his new book. Thanks for your time and consideration.

I wanted to reach out and let you know about The Green Jean, as I think your audience would find it fashionable and fun because they’re actually made from recycled water bottles and cotton! The Green Jean by eco-friendly apparel brand, Dirtball is made from 100% recycled materials which have been repurposed to create a high-quality cotton/polyester denim. Each pair contains between 8 to 10 water bottles and all the materials are 100% made in the U.S.A.

I’m writing to let you know that we’ve officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Green Jean - in order for founder Joe Fox to bring the Green Jean to market, he must raise $40,000 before September 25, 2013. Those interested in supporting the campaign can purchase a pair of jeans on the project's Kickstarter campaign page and support the project all at the same time.

If you’re interested, please let me know how I can make the writing process easy for you and your team - I’d be happy to send over additional information or images.
