Woo-hoo! I made cookies today!
And they even turned out. But I don't usually screw up cookies (but, sometimes, yes)-- just cakes and bread and soufflées and anything that has to rise and involves an oven. But the cookies are *nummy* (to use a technical term). Walnut chocolate-chip für die Eltern (since I was using their oven, after all) and oatmeal chocolate-chip for myself.
But now I feel all blah because I ingested way too much cookie dough. I don't even want to think about dinner.
Maybe I'll have some strong liquor in the hopes of inducing a trou Normand. Ah, if only I had some Calvados.
