I just got some information relayed to me on what happened to Jayne and Killian.
It appears as though Jubal is wanting Jayne to keep a journal, and he does not realize that the handheld has some Cortex capabilities so Jayne can have 2 way communication with some older systems.
I'm going to have to process all the data I collected from their transmissions a little, but I think I may need to talk to Book about all this first before I do anything else. I think he can help the most at this very moment.
