Understanding Me

Dear Mr. Bear:

I really liked seeing Moma and Papa both this morning when I woke up. I smiled at them and they both smiled back and told me how much they loved me. It was fun!

I told them that 1:45 this morning was a long time ago and could I please have a nice warm bottle, please? Papa picked me up and cuddled me for a moment. Instead of fixing the bottle, he changed my diaper! I tried to tell him that the diaper was fine and what I really wanted was breakfast, but he continued with the diaper changing anyway. Why doesn't Papa and Mama understand when I tell them things? They act like all they hear is me crying. It's frustrating, Mr. Bear.

Then Papa took me into Mama's bed and she cuddled me until Papa brought a bottle for Mama and I to share. I tell you, Mr. Bear, no one gives bottle like Mama does. It's just the right temperature, held just right for me to drink it, and she's all warm and snuggly while I drink it. (sigh). Life is good again.

Love,

Simon.
