If I was going to alter my rig a littlel bit, ie buy a gig stick or 2 of memory (I think my 'puter crashing is due to current problems with the 2 1/2 gig sticks), would it be better just to upgrade my CPU and Mobo along with the memory?
I think all of 160 know my current set up : athlon (overclocked to 2002), 2x1/2 G ram, nvidia 6600 gt, some sort of fan....
I don't want to do a major overhaul, but it looks like I need the ram replaced (DAMN YOU I7!) so would it be better to upgrade other bits as well or not?
Suggestions in simple jon-speak with links and prices would be good. (I think £200 is tops for this endeavour, I saw gig sticks were £50ish)
