What happens when Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and House MD collide.
Okay, one word of advice: don't watch two shows concurrently.
This is the reason why:
After watching episodes 8 to 11 of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Season 4 Episode 15 to 16 of House (no worries, no spoilers for the uninitiated), I just had a ridiculously epic dream where Wilson makes his grand return to PPTH, topping his return off with an epic speech (and "Happily Ever After" playing in the background):
"*Name removed for spoileriffic reasons* has died -- she's not here anymore! But, in my heart, she lives on as part of me! I will heal the sick and comfort the dying. Even if death is but the final destination of all of us, as long as I break through, it's my victory! Who the hell do you think I am? I am Wilson. I'm not just House's friend -- I am me! WILSON THE ONCOLOGIST!"
So... yeah.
Anyway, tracking back to a few moments before the TTGL speech came in - where Nia asks Simon to let her hold onto Lagann's controls... it was some sort of "everything new is old again", or was that "everything old is new again"?
So episode 9 was the episode with Nia, right? Truth be told, I didn't have high hopes for her character, but watching episode 11 cemented it - **** yes, you are the best match for Simon, ever. Episode 12 was just the cherry on top. :)
