Out of curiosity, does anyone have any songs that remind you of this pairing? I have two so far:

1. Honey And The Moon by Joseph Arthur.
I want to try making an AMV with this sometime after the show is over...

2. Here Without You by 3 Doors Down.
Simon's POV during the 4th arc, I guess.

Ooh, I love the first one.

For me... At the Beginning from Anastasia reminds me of this pairing a lot. I-I can't help it. (Plus, the line about the end going back to the beginning reminds me of the series' whole "spiral" theme.)

Magic by Ben Folds Five, I don't think entirely fits Nia's transformation, but there are parts that definitely bring it to mind.

You know...I've seen "At the Beginning" used for a lot of pairings, but you're right, it does fit them! And it's just a great song in general. :D

The AndMarkHer version of "My Hero". The theme pretty much fits Nia's ideal version of Simon as one who despite simple and ordinary man is one she is able to trust even in the ultimately doomed situation.

Looks Like Rain by "The Postmarks" pretty much showcases how innocently hopeful their relationship came to be even when surging from a painful and maybe twisted intention. I guess this song reflects a big deal of my understanding of their relationship, a meeting that despite being born from despair tries to overcome the ultimate destiny that tosses those within it towards doom.

The energetic and powerful yet childish love motto in "YOUR SUNSHINE" by Bugy Craxone also works amazingly well.

Hmm totally agree about the Here Without You, very good song, and I definitely think it fits.

Though I actually have another suggestion. I'm not sure if you know of the band skillet and there song "Say Goodbye." This song more focuses on their relationship in the fourth arc.

Like "here without you", it expresses the pains of their seperation, but I think this song also shows how Simon really wants her bac and how far he is willing to get her back. Plus the song makes reference to the past several times, and leaves open for flashbacks to earlier parts of the series or even episode 17.

It was funny cuz I saw this post and was going through my music to find other songs that would fit. And this song stuck out like a sore thumb. ^_^
