A tear for all the words forgotten (from places in the following post) :'(

So after jamming hard for a little bit on the old Guitar Hero, and throwing a little lefty flip out there for good measure, and having my tea of stupid snacker jack crackers (I would eat something 'propper' but i honestly cba at the moment. It could be worse. They're basically just salty, with no other nutritional ++ or -- *shrugs*) Im sitting down to check how long some music is gonna be before i can listen to it.

Its election time as many of you will know, so the local dream-dealers are all out trying to undercut the competition; with their pamphlets; the lib-dem of which is sitting on my knee so i decided to take and look and find out what bargains they are offering.

The first thing i notice is that it was designed my a school child seemingly. There's a picture of a smug guy in the corner who could be anyone for all I know, and a nondescript picture of some cars in the other corner. The slogan for their campaign is a nice simple and original "It's time for a change..."; and i find my self wishing if only it were. For you see, the irony is that nothing ever changes in politics.

Those in charge govern however they see fit and do what they want. Until the public find something they really don't like and make a fuss, at which they make some token change to appease the masses, which usually leads to no really difference. More over the public fuss is usually caused by some politically inclined media entity which 'whips up a storm' about something of nothing to shepherd us all into the direction they would prefer.

Now some might say I'm being a tad cynical, but to be frank I think I've reached the age where my childhood innocence and idealism have finally been chipped away sufficient that i no longer believe that people honestly want to do good for their fellow chumps.

Yet in considering, I find that these people dont bother me half as much as the anonymous pamphlet dealer. The woman who turned up with this leaflet at 9 on an evening. She can't honestly care that much about this farce to be doing this can she? I mean she must be doing this as a job right? Why would someone put their time and effort in to giving someone else power? Its the legions of just such people who worry me.

These are the people who need something to believe in. Something to fight for. They need to get out there and stand up for those things they feel passionate about and show everyone they see just how passionate they are.

Seemingly even to the point of working tirelessly towards an unachievable, uninspiring, vanilla goal.

I've lost interest now. Its not worth me thinking about it for too long. lol. Besides im tired now and i find it hard to keep my concentration when im like this.

So in other news, erm *-)

Cully came down on the weekend, and we had take away and stuff. lol. And then Cesca came down for her job interview on Monday, which seemed to go quite well. As such it seems she might be moving down here. Which is awesome as there will be even more people from teh mother North.

Attention span collapsing. Bullet form now.

* No GTA :(
* Thinking about learning to play something musical
* Rock Band thing tomorrow. Oh we dropped out. Too much politics.
* Rain make Sy wet.

Sleep now.
