What is it about celebrities that make the human mind go nuts? Jeremy Hotz came into The Source today, and I sold him some earphone foam pads. And for quite some time after that, despite knowing that it was just the meat talking, I kept replaying the scene in my head, thinking of something different I should have done or said.
It must have something to do with the way humans are wired for monarchy and such...if a person is a celebrity, that means that people must think highly of him. Thus, the person has a higher status, and can more easily control people that he doesn't actually know.
