Well, I am in term 6 now. Time sure flies and I misses Penang a lot. Although there was one sad event happened, still I had the best time of my life back in Penang. Is definitely the best place to relax. Damn, I miss Soho the bar that just locate opposite the place I use to stayed, the members of 1885 cause we often go drink together, Ah Kai my big-brother-alike that brought me here and there and of course the foods!
Many unpleasant things happened and I just feel like whatever is over let it be and look forward to something more important in future.
Before starting term 6, I joined a small cake decoration competition conducted by Pastry Pro and Secret Recipe. It was a very great experience and I won the First Category (Black Box Deco). It was very fun and won RM 200 cash voucher of Pastry Pro and Secret recipe. I can't wait to join more competition if I get the chance again.
So far term 6 is quite okay. Except for the idiotic timetable as usual. Well, can not blame them because there are no smart enough to arrange our timetable. Feel sad for them actually.
Last Saturday was DC28 food promo. I was in the service team and I think my team did quite well consider we did not do service for a year. I definitely can not pull this whole thing off without Wen Bor and Pooi San, my captains. They are very reliable in handling all the restaurant's tasks. Albert/Betty did his best to gather as many guests as possible except that idiot junior ditch us last minute. Choon Hau my accountant was very firm himself. Bartender, Alson and Afiq did a brilliant job in doing the drinks. Bertha, Chin, Kevin, Shu Seng and his girlfriend on preparing those wonderful menu and name tag. Syamin, Farah, Aisyah and Andy for doing the wonderful decoration and the center piece. Chester, Jon, Ken, Lee Long, Asher, Hui San, Charles and Eddie for supporting them in every aspects. Chester and Lee Long worked their muscle off hat night and I can't help but thanking them! Most important Mr Danial Yong, our pillar of support!
Oh, have to thank Wen and Yin in helping me do to some last minute mise-place and Kheng Yew for singing out of the blue. It was a great experience.
