The Crying Puzzle
Jaida recieved some puzzles from the neighbor that her kids had out grown. One of the puzzles is a chickie that you can change the emotion on by switching the head. Jaida came across the crying face while playing with the puzzle. It was the end of the world. She said "cryin mommy" showing me the puzzle piece. Then she said "what do" she wanted to know what to do to make him feel better. I told her it was a picture and we couldn't take the tears off that we just put a different head on the chickie. WEll she then picked up the piece and made a very sad face and told the piece sorry. I think because she couldn't cheer it up. then she puts her hands out and says "he cryin, what do..he cryin." then she got very said and keep holding the puzzle piece tenderly trying to get it to stop crying. This went on for about 40 minutes, She showed everyone in the house the puzzle piece and asked them "what do". she really wanted to make it feel better. She kept getting sadder and sadder because the puzzle piece was crying. She evetually cried along with the sad chickie face. I had to work really hard to distract her from the piece and then hid it because she was so upset that it was crying, no matter what she did. GOTTA LOVE TWO YEAR OLDS. I think it was one of the cutest momments in her life. I LOVE MY KIDS!
