Parking lot dance party!!!
Today was a very interesting day. It started out good - I woke up and was surprised to find a new shirt from my mom for getting good grades this semester. That was very exciting! However, my good mood was quickly destroyed when I got to school and had a statistics test to take :( definitely did not do good at all. But my day turned good again when I got to go to SKATE PALACE with the preschool (I help at Buttercup during 6th period). I remember going there when I went to buttercup - aah, good times! Sometimes I really wish I was a little kid again. Life was so simple - chasing the boys at recess, NO HOMEWORK, sleeping in since school didn't start until 9:15!! Anyways - Skate Palace was fun. I had about 3 kids on me at all times, one on each hand and for a while, this little girl Emily was holding on to my back pockets. The only problem was - was that when she would fall down, she would not let go. Thank goodness for the invention of a belt!
So my day has gone good-bad-good and it was soon to become bad again. I get back to school and received some disappointing and kind of frustrating news - some of you may know what I am talking about, but I don't feel like getting into details. Basically the night of March 1st is now open for me - no plans - no sadie hawkins. I was really looking forward to going too...oh well i guess, stuff happens. So yeah...I came home and after bumming around the house forever, I put in Sweet Home Alabama - definite chick flick. This is where the night began to get good again. Buck, Dylan and Nicole come over for a while. My mom made dinner for us (that's my mom!) and then we headed out to the basketball game. Fashionably late. We lost by 2 at the buzzer :( stupid refs....always blame it on the refs.
The best part of the night came after the game...the first ever PARKING LOT DANCE PARTY!!! amit, aaron and dylan pulled their cars in and turned the music up and we danced in the parking lot for like an hour or so. Good times!! We decided another one was necessary, with more people....possibly the away game vs. Corvallis next week? we went back to Jamie's after the dance. I don't even think I can remember all the people that were there....me, Jamie, Michelle, Sarah, Vanessa, Nicole, Buck, Dylan, Amit, Jordan, Jordan, James, Erich, Mitch...is that everyone? i really don't remember! So that was my day: good, bad, good, bad, good. Soccer practice early tomorrow morning so I am off to bed. GOODNIGHT!
